Hey y’all! I can’t believe it’s my favorite time of the year already. It’s the season to be jolly, Fall la la la la, la la la la. I’m starting it out with some of my favorite goodies. What I am sharing with you are a few different activities that can be used in September, October and November. Be sure to access the KT club to grab the free samples. I have provided a link for each complete file so that it’s easy to grab if you want more of these.
First up is this Johnny Appleseed sentence scramble set.
We do Johnny Appleseed celebrations in September, this little cut and paste sentence activity will be a fun addition to any apple theme.
You can have the sentences already cut and stored. Students get to paste them in their Johnny Appleseed recording book .
This activity is really simple and fun for the kids.
There are five different sentences for the little book.
Next are these seasonal cut and paste passages for readers. I absolutely love these . Year after year we have enjoyed these seasonal readings.
I usually have these out at center time and they are a blast. Students love figuring out the mystery word that helps to complete the passages.
These are awesome as well for assessing reading comprehension .
Students can read the story more than once for fluency and color the seeds to show how many times they have read. Cut the pieces to fill in the story .

A great way to use these would be to laminate them on astrobrights, add velcro so that students can use them over and over.
